My career in finance began in 2015, where I cut my teeth in financial planning. I spent years mastering the technical side of wealth—completing an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and specialising in Australian Tax Law. But I soon realized that for most Australians, the heartbeat of wealth is property.

Driven by a passion for the real estate market, I pivoted in 2017 to view the world through a different lens. I obtained my Real Estate License, not to sell houses, but to truly understand the "ground floor" experience of a buyer. I wanted to know exactly what my clients feel, fear, and face during a purchase so I could advise them with total empathy and insight.

This unique "dual perspective" of finance and property is what led me to mortgage broking. My dedication to high-quality loan structuring was recognized early on with the industry "Young Gun" award—an accolade reserved for brokers who demonstrate exceptional technical skill and lender trust.

In 2024, I founded Thrive Financial Group to bring this holistic approach to life. I don’t just look at an interest rate; I look at your tax position, your property goals, and your long-term wealth strategy. Ty brings a unique background of elite discipline and a genuine passion for property to the Thrive Financial team. Before transitioning into finance, Ty spent years competing as an elite swimmer, representing Australia at the World Championships in the 200m Backstroke.
